The western part of Uttar Pradesh, especially the districts bordering Uttarakhand, witnessed good rainfall on Friday. According to meteorologist M. Danish, there are signs of a slight decrease in monsoon activity in UP for the next two to three days.
This will reduce the intensity of rain and an increase in temperature will also be seen. However, the weather department has issued a warning of heavy rain for Saturday in more than 15 districts including the southern districts of the state as well as Saharanpur, Shamli, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Mathura, Agra. On Friday, 52 mm of rain was recorded in Shahjahanpur, 33.4 mm in Moradabad, 26 mm in Bareilly, 9.4 mm in Aligarh, 8.6 mm in Meerut and 4 mm in Fatehgarh.
Talking about the maximum temperature, Hamirpur had the highest temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius. Talking about the minimum temperature, Ghazipur had the lowest temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, Muzaffarnagar 23.3 degrees, while Churuk had a temperature of 24 degrees Celsius.
